at Little Creek Acres Farm.
After considering the ins and outs of purchasing transplants comes the proper care and handling of them before, during, and after planting. These topics are the focus of the demonstration and hands-on practice provided in the class.
June 17: “A Place To Grow; A Time to Water”
This hands-on class covers soil health and preparation, planting considerations, and watering skills; container gardening and in-ground methods.
June 24: “Growing a Great Salad”
Learn how to plan, grow, and harvest different varieties of lettuces and other salad greens and herbs.
July 1: “Summer Specialties”
This class will cover student questions on other aspects of gardening of interest to them with growing, harvesting, storage, and cooking tips. This class will be followed by a celebration summer patio lunch.
